Following graduation from The University of Manchester Dental School in 2001, Sunil commenced
his dental career practising in the East Midlands. He went
on to hold positions at King’s College and Guy’s Dental
Hospitals in London.
He has since gained post graduate qualifications in advanced Implant dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons and in Restorative dentistry from The Eastman Dental Institute.
Sunil has many years of experience treating anxious and phobic patients and has obtained SAAD certification in intravenous sedation.
More recently, Sunil has worked in private practice both in London and Essex prior to establishing Northlight Dental.
Dr Neha Passan

Neha is our in-house specialist orthodontist. She qualified from the University of Manchester Dental School in 2001 and initially worked in general practice. She went on to undertake hospital posts in oral and maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry.
Neha has completed her specialist training at the Royal London Hospital having obtained a Master of Science in orthodontics and subsequently her Membership in Orthodontics form the Royal College of Surgeons.
Rebecca Gane: Dental Nurse

Rebecca started her training in 1994, aged 16 yrs, and qualified in 2003.
She has worked in both NHS and private practices, gaining her vast experience in general dentistry and also specialist areas, such as Implants, periodontology and surgical procedures.
The reason Rebecca loves her job is the enjoyment she gets from helping and reassuring patients and creating a friendly, calm and comfortable environment.
Kate Barker

Kate began her career in dentistry at the age of 18. She worked as a dental nurse for 10 years in which time she gained valued experience working chair side. She obtained her dental nurse qualification in 1998 and also went on to qualify as an Oral Health Educator in 2000. This is where her interest in oral hygiene began and she then decided to train as a dental hygienist.
Kate qualified with merit from the Eastman Dental Hospital, London, in June 2006 and has been working as a dental hygienist in private practice ever since. She regularly attends courses to update her knowledge and skills, and has particular interest in specialised areas such as dental implants and non-surgical periodontal therapy.
Kate offers a professional, friendly and reassuring approach when caring for her patients and always put the needs of her patients first, believing that education and preventative advice is the key to help patients achieve good oral health.
